STEP ONE

Ensure hands are clean and dry

 

STEP TWO

Have the Fingerprint Card ready and in front of you.

 

 

STEP THREE

– Tap the ink strip once, then tap the paper multiple times.

– Avoid pressing, rolling or swiping your finger across the ink strip or paper as this will create smudged prints.

– Ensure the paper is on a hard surface. Pressing the card to a finger will not produce a clear fingerprint

 

STEP FOUR

These are clear fingerprints

 

These are unclear fingerprints that we unfortunately cannot work with.

There are shadows present, multiple smudges, the photo is blurry or there are not enough clear lines to engrave anything that will resemble a fingerprint.

STEP FIVE

– Take one photo of each print. Cameras cannot properly focus on more than one singular point.

– Ensure you tap the screen of your phone directly over the print so the camera focuses on the print and your photos are clear.

– After taking the photos, zoom in to each photo to check for blurriness. We unfortunately cannot work with blurry photos. If it is blurry for you, it will be blurry for us too.
If you are unable to take clear photos, you can also post your fingerprints to us. We can return them to you if a reply paid, self-addressed envelope is included with your prints.
