My piece has a mark on it that I can see if I turn it to a specific angle, can I return it?

All Precious Hearts pieces are individually handcrafted and hand-finished to a high shine. Precious metals, including 9k & 14k gold, sterling silver, and gold-filled materials are naturally soft reflective surfaces that show what some may deem ‘imperfections’ but are perfectly normal and to be expected with soft precious metals like gold or silver.
While plated jewellery is able to look flawless initially (albeit briefly) due to the chemicals involved to produce a perfect surface, precious metals last much longer but are never able to be as flawless.

Like all natural things on earth, precious metals are perfectly imperfect by nature.

Due to the nature of polished metal, extremely fine polishing marks and microscopic surface lines may be visible under certain lighting conditions, particularly LED and downlights, bright sunlight, or magnified inspection from close distances, especially with modern cameras. These are completely normal characteristics of a hand-finished precious metal item and are not defects, so returns are not accepted for these reasons alone.

Each piece is inspected and photographed (with videos also often taken) prior to dispatch to ensure it meets our quality standards and presents as a highly polished finish under normal viewing conditions.
