HOW TO CUSTOMISE YOUR PENDANT
Select any Additional Engraving options:
a. If you would also like 1-3 words engraved on the back, select ‘Back: 1-3 words’. Select your Font and specify your engraving details
b. If you would like a fingerprint engraved on each side (or two on the front), select ‘2nd Print’. No text will be engraved.

PROVIDING FINGERPRINTS
– After placing your order we will post a complimentary Fingerprint Kit, complete with two forensic-grade fingerprint strips, cleaning wipe, and instructions.
– Once you have your prints ready, refer to your Order Confirmation email for the link to submit your images.
– Visit the Guide here prior to taking your photos to ensure you are taking photos we can use for the clearest engraving possible.
– We do not manipulate or redesign the fingerprint in any way, so it is important you are happy with your print and any smudges or marks in the print prior to submitting it for engraving. We strongly recommend taking the time to read the instructions carefully, ensuring to compare your fingerprints to those provided in the Image Portal to avoid delays or disappointment.

PLACING ASHES OR HAIR INSIDE THE URN CHAMBER
– The chain is threaded through the urn screw which you will undo to place your ashes or hair inside the urn
– Insert the funnel into the urn chamber and carefully scoop ashes or hair in
– Close the urn, ensuring the screw is completely tight
– Check to ensure the screw is tightly closed every few days

CARING FOR YOUR PIECE
– Like all jewellery, your Precious Hearts piece will require some simple maintenance, love and care, so a polishing cloth is provided to help you look after your purchase. Avoiding contact with chemicals such as perfumes, deodorants and hair spray will keep your jewellery looking brand new for as long as possible.
– Removing the necklace for showering and swimming to avoid any moisture entering the urn chamber is strongly recommended, re-tightening the screw regularly.

WHAT IS PVD BONDING?
PVD (Physical Vapour Deposition) bonding is a high-pressure vacuum-bonding process used to apply an extremely durable layer of precious metal onto a base metal, like stainless steel, by vaporising and permanently bonding the precious metal.
Unlike traditional vermeil and electroplating, which wears off relatively quickly making it ultimately unsuitable for highly sentimental jewellery, PVD bonding is 20 times more durable, scratch-resistant and corrosion-proof, making PVD-bonded jewellery pieces the perfect choice for daily wear.
PVD is hypoallergenic, nickel and copper free, and is more environmentally friendly due to chemicals not being used in the production process, whilst producing far less waste than conventional plating methods.

PRODUCTION & DELIVERY
– As all products are custom made with love and care, they take between 4-6 business days before being posted.
– Orders are carefully gift wrapped in Precious Hearts branded gift packaging, sent in inconspicuous postal packaging via Australia Post Express.
